Pentagon/geometry questions!?

I have 2 questions in my summer math packet about pentagons that i cannot answer. i just need to know how to solve them, NOT the answers. here they are:

1)What is the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a pentagon

2)What would be the measures of each interior angle of a regular pentagon

  1. 1. The formula you can use here is this:

    180*n = sum of angles

    where n equals the amount of sides on a polygon

    2. (Sum of angles)/(amount of sides)


  2. 1. Take (n-2)180, where n = number of sides. So the answer is

    3(180) = 540

    2. 540/5 = 108
