Peolpe who have been to a concert in the RDS, Dublin?

Question

what is better to get? seating or standing tickets?

which is actually better for viewing the concert? and which would be more enjoyable?

its for the mcfly concert on the 11-11-08 in the RDS, Dublin.

I saw justin timberlake, fergie and timbaland there. I had the standing tickets.. the stage was in the middle so the people sitting down didnt really have a good view where as when your standing you can go close to the stage. People get a bit aggressive in the standing area though cause everyone wants to be at the front. Even if you are sitting you are still going to be able to see the big screen with mcfly on it and your under shelter in case it rains.

I was there to see Gunz and roses a few years back,, We had standing and it was great.. loads of room.

The seating is really far from the stage...

If i was you i would get standing. and if it's a nice day you could move to the back or sides and sit on the grass if you get tired..

what we did was sit in the sun having a few beers and when it the gig started we moved up closer to the stage.. was really good.

i'd get standing if i ever went back, seating aint great, too far from the stage and we had a great big cement pillar slap bang right in fron of us!!
