People, your thoughts of rayon made out of bamboo?

Would tampons filled with rayon made out of bamboo be more healthier than than tampons filled with rayon made out of forest waste?

  2. ............hmm . if i was a panda bear i would be pretty upset.

  3. Bambo is biodegradable, has antibacterial qualities, does not require the use of pesticides or fungicides to grow, grows very quickly (sustainable), and is highly absorbant... oh, and if you made *pads* out of bamboo fabric they would also be  reusable.

    ... much nicer for the planet, but we can already make reusable cotton fabric pads (they're called "rags" for a reason) but most of us don't... it's much easier to trash 'em I s'ppose.

    Forest waste... as in leaves, underbrush, fallen trees?  I don't know that they would make the best tampons, unless you like twigs sticking out of your vuh-jay-jay... and I think there are already tampons made out of recycled paper, they're just not so easy to find everywhere.
