The chinese earthquake was caused by a specific group of radical fascists trying to send a message to china! this aint conspiracy or supporting a specific political party! this is war against humanity! the fascism in the 1930's are reborn in the 21st century by a group of mad men who are not part of the human race!

The word is not in there. Pure democracy would be simple rule by the majority. We have something quite a bit different.

The correct term for our system of government is "constitutionally limited republic".

Webster defines "republic" as: a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law.

The Constitution very wisely structures government so that a simple majority cannot tread upon any particular minority—at least, not for long—so long as the Constitution is upheld.
