People acting tuff and think there cool?

The other night i was buying some bread from the local servo, and this guy was just stairing at me.. he looked like a darro so staired back because i was confused, the he laughed at me and i bought my bread and walked outside... he was in a car with another darro, and was like "why were u stairing at me do you want me to hop out of the car??" im like wat ever and walked off... Does anyone know why people have to act TUFF! and be a******s it pisses me off and i dont know how to react, i am a very fit and healthy person if anyone was wondering.

And people act that way to just kinda act up and try to be cool in front of their friends.

Because they think that being feared is the same as being respected.  

Angering you, and watching you back down is what they want.  So don't get angry at them. If they act threatening, you don't act threatened.  It's a game to them, don't play into their hands.  If they stare at you, smile and say 'hello'.  Your politeness will ruin their fun.

    

If you're trying to make a bright future for yourself, then these ignorant "tuffs" are nothing to you.  Ignore them.

Be a better person and you'll get REAL respect.  Living like they do often ends with a jail term or worse.  In the long run, you'll win by staying cool.
