People after me if I become a doctor?

I would be 25 if I become a doctor. The problem is that I worry if people would be after to marry me in my family and outside of my family. My relatives would love to marry their daughter to a me because I would become a doctor. What should I do to avoid all of this controversy and choose a girl of my choice out of all of these girls without making anyone feel bad?

Oh, and did it ever occur to you that you sound VERY arrogant?? Who knows only one girl might "want" you if that.

It is your life and you must put yourself first in a polite way when it comes to choosing a bride. Someone will feel bad if you do this and you can't worry about that because it is not their life. It is yours. Just conduct yourself in a kind and polite manner when they get pushy but don't give in to them. You will be sorry if you do and always wonder, "What would have been".

Start laying the foundation for choosing your own bride now. Talk sincerely at family occasions about how this is very important to you and something that you won't make compromises about when the time comes, years from now.

They will get the message ahead of time and it will be easier, once you are a doctor, to continue restating the same position that they have already heard for years.

The key word is this "if". You don't even know if you can make it through medical school. I think this is the least of your problems, at this point.

Not everyone will just run to you because you are a "doctor".  It seems to me like you are just becoming a doctor for the prestige of saying, "Yes my love, I am truly a doctor...one who saves lives and protects the health of all mankind!".  Give me a break!

Find a woman, get to know her...and if you're smart enough (which most doctors are, right?), you'll know if she's using you or not.

Not everyone makes it through medical school, and if you do, I can assure you that not every woman will want you. Live your life the way you want, and not by anyone else's rules. I would also suggest being a little less arrogant, and much more humble. If you do have a storm of women wanting to marry you because you become a doctor, simply date only those you are interested in. You can only be pushed around, if you don't stand up for yourself, so start now by choosing your own career path.
