Did you have any special boarding passes or anything or was it just a regular boarding pass? And did you have to take extra steps in the whole security process or was the process like a regular adult traveling alone?

  2. I'm 18 now, but over the past few years I've flown a lot of airlines including American. When you are older than 13 they more or less let you fend for yourself. To keep your airport experience smooth, remember to pack light, make sure you...

    - Don't have anything that is disallowed when entering the security checkpoint

-Pre-print your tickets (you can do this through their website)

-Have all necessary documents ready (a passport if going overseas)

-Ask for help from security if you need it

    Have fun!

  3. regular security process.  Your boarding pass will be the same (except it will say minor on it) and you will most likely have an escort who works for the airline that will stay with you at all times until you board the plane (you will also get to board before anyone else).  You will get off the plane last at your stop because there will be another escort that will stay with you until they hand you over to your guardians in that city.  You will be alone on the plane (well there are flight attendants still and all. lol) but you won't have someone sitting there holding your hand, watching you or anything.  Just when your in the airport.

    Have fun!
