People and the environment.?

Is it only when the last tree is cut down, the last drop of water polluted and the last fish caught when people will realise that you cant eat money.

I hope not. I find myself worrying about global warming a lot.  It;s a shame that people don't realize that it's not only us that we need to worry about, but the future generations.  If we don't stop global warming and start doing something about it, it's only going to get worse. Water will get even more polluted- the 1% of fresh water that is available will dwindle even more and the ozone layer will be ruined even more leading to an increase in the amount of UV rays- causing people to get skin cancer and melanoma much faster.

We can only hope that humans learn to sustain the resources that are here now on Earth.

  To stop overfishing and let the populations rise once again to make sure tha the equilibrium in the oceans are once again back to normal. We need to stop deforestation and the destruction of the rainforests.  Animals are losing habitat and we are losing the main contributor to oxygen.

  If humans cannot learn to live sustainably and to stop the pollution, deforestation, and overfishing, then no amount of money will help repair the damage that is done.
