  1. my stepdad told me that, i tried it and it didnt work

  2. Toothpaste do subsidize your acne (make it smaller and less red).

BUT, if you have dry or sensitive skin, i think you shouldnt use toothpaste on your acnes.

I tried it before and my skin starting peeling the 2nd day. Boohoo.

Probably because the toothpaste is too harsh for my skin.

Luckily it isnt peeling right now already.

Anyway, if you really would like to try out if it works for u, take a LITTLE amount of toothpaste and dab on your acnes. Then see how it works on your skin.

    Good luck! =)

  3. it works for me,

you don't mix it with anything any any brand is ok.

just take a little dab and put it over where needed

  4. i use toothpaste when i get pimples and they are gone within aboput 2 days, no you dont mix it with anything you put it straight on your face. it may feel like it is burning a little bit but that is a good thing. you can use any brand that has fluoride in to.

  5. hi. okay here it what you need to do.

first , it dosnt matter about the brand just make sure its the normal paste and not gel or with whitening strips on it or w/e.

then take the toothpaste and dab a tiny bit on the pimple. then leave it to dry or w/e. just like for 5 min . THEN go to bed with it on. the wash it off in themorning. do it everynight for the 3 days and oyu should have clear skin.

also using rose water as a toner for your skin helps too. just dab rose water with a cotton sponge on your face after you wash it. so try that too. hope i helped!

  6. dont use toothpaste it make ur skin dry , it probably wont give u clear skin in 3 days and it dosnt work on every one

  7. well all toothpaste really does is sort of temporarily reduce the redness of acne, its not a quick fix and you certainly won't have clear skin in 3 days. keep in mind the toothpaste only works for some people

    sorry

  9. If your skin type is oily or combination, it might be worth dabbing a small dot of toothpaste on the actual zits. Let it sit on for quite a while. Wash off thoroughly afterward. I would assume that the toothpastes which contain peroxide would be your best bet. Peroxide will prevent infection, also clean and dry out the new blemishes.

If it's an old scabby or dry blemish, do not apply peroxide. It will not do any good at that point.

Also, when using the type with peroxide (usually labeled as whitening toothpaste)...remember that if you fall asleep with it, the peroxide will stain sheets or pillowcases. It has a bleaching effect.

There are also many many products out there containing salicylic acid, which can work wonders for oily, acne-prone skin. Gentle exfoliation is another key step. A lot of acne is caused when dead skin builds up, collects germs, and clogs up pores. Purchase an inexpensive exfoliator and use as directed.

If you have dry skin, or sensitive skin, do not use toothpaste. It will make your skin worse than before. It will leave it red, flaky, and irritated. I know this by experience. I have dry, sensitive skin with acne tendencies. I got rid of my acne by using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil in the morning and night. I apply Olay daily face mousturizer for sensitive skin with SPF 15. Just doing these small things has really helped my skin.

  10. Wash your face as normal.  Spot treat the pimples with the toothpaste just like you would with clearasil or whatever, before you go to bed.  Then wash it off in the morning.  Just make sure you use plain toothpaste.  Don't use the whitening kind or anything with lots of "extras".  Just plain old toothpaste.

As to three days, drink 1/2 gallon of water daily.  Get plenty of sleep. (this regulates your hormones)  Make sure you wash your face LAST thing before bed and try not to go to bed with any product in your hair.  Make sure your pillow cases are clean.  Also, you can try wrapping a clean hand towel, soaked in cold milk and wrung out, on your face for 15 minutes before you wash it.  Just like at the spa.  This will help to dry out the pimples but not your skin.  The milk also helps take away redness.

    Hope this helps. :D
