People are talking a lot of trash about Oklahoma City's new team "Thunder", but it is really THAT bad?

I mean yeah the name will have some getting used to, but really think about it. Is it that much worse than Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, Utah Jazz, and the Denver Nuggets???

Lets face it. About half the NBA's teams have crappy names.

Most people hating the Team Name and Logo are either Seattle Fans or just haters in General. The Thunder isnt a bad name, how is the name Thunder any worse than the "Suns" or the "Nuggets?" Thunder isn't a bad name at all.

I think the name is pretty cool and now the arena can be the Thunderdome.  Too bad Kobe and the Lakers will be kicking the Thunder's butts in the West.

I love the new name, I really do. But the logo leaves more to be desired. I just don't think Blue, Red and Orange look good together. The logo looks like something off a Fisher Price toy.

Yeah you are right about alot of NBA teams have bad names but you can get any worser that the Oklahoma City Thunder.It just looks bad on the jersey and sounds bad and thats why the "Thunder" will only win 24 games this year!!

The Bobcats used to be the worst name but not anymore.  The Thunder? Is your state so void of entertainment or accomplishments that it has to use some random weather event?  Miami is hot you think heat, Utah Jazz used to be in New Orleans.  Where do u think jazz came from?  Detroit Pistons...hmmm Detroit ...cars, Houston Rockets,hmmm..Houston...Nasa.  R U catching on Oklahoma?  

As for the uniforms....wow..lol...you should be ashamed to come out and play.  Its like someone used thier new home computer and found a print shop with the chessy logos on it.  

There is a reason NO major sport is in Oklahoma.  This year you will see why.  Of all the places you could go.  Tell me this wasnt about some guy wanting to show off his new purchase to his friends!!!!!!!!!!

Im not a sonic fan but that team was doing just fine.  Why not move the Bobcats or the Clippers.  They have worse records and fewer attendence records.

Anyway why not name your team after some Indian stuff.  Thats what your known for right?  Your name and uniform looks like a half a** attempt to play with the big boys.
