A few years ago I was watching tv and came across a show that described mating habits among humans. The study it focused on was people being attracted to other people's body sweat. While I found the experiment itself to be odd I really found the whole human research aspect pretty cool. They said the man conduction the test was some sort of psychologist or something.....I would like to do experiments like this too....what degree would I have to have to do this kind of stuff...What major?

  1. Psychology major. Yes, they do tests like this. Your course will cover some of them, and many very different tests, and also teach you how to design, run and evaluate them. You can later specalise in whichever area you found most interesting. What you described usually comes under social psychology.

It's pheremones in the sweat we react to. Even then, it's only one of many factors.
