I really love that book, but other people only read it because..

Its hard to explain, but a few of my friends are WAY to obsessed.

One of my friends read the book (After I told her to read it because I liked at. XD) and now she calls herself "emo" and goes on vampire freaks with a bunch of pictures about Twighlight.

Another friend is really upset they're not making a show, or cancelled it. or.. whatever..

>.>

....

Anyways, but I think Twighlights becoming TOO popular, I'm starting not to like it.

:/

..

Its kind of like.. Harry Potter..

(I could never get sick of those books,I love Harry Potter, but its.. overrated.. O_O)

Any books that are good, or better, as Twighlight? :D

Like.. about Vampires, or magic..

(I'm really bad asking questions..)

And yes, I'm a nerd.. and proud.. =P

Tehe..

-_-*

  1. haha omg same here!! i read it in 2005 and now everywhere I go even in school and stuff people have a copy of it so its not as personal i guess. like now you arent one of the only ones who knows and can love it w/o being like all way in it like your friends are doing. but i guess its cool that there are more people to talk about it with but it does get old after a while

  2. Try Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles starting with Interview with the Vampire.  Louis' torment is so vivid.

  3. You're spelling "Twilight" wrong.

But, try the Blue Bloods series. I'm pretty sure it's only two books though.

They are by Melissa de Cruz, they are about vampires, too.

And I agree on the "Twilight is getting to popular."

I read Twilight in '06 and now all of a sudden, everyone is a "huge fan" It's really annoying.

  4. If you are a nerd you will probably enjoy Dracula-Bram Stoker. A all-time vampire classic.

  5. Read inkheart, its quite good!

  6. The Vampire Diaries by L.J.Smith!!

I swear to freaking buddah that this is the best vampire romantic series ever!!! and the author is coming out with a fifth book soon!! AHHHH I read the series twice. If you werent obbsessed with twilight, this you will be.

Can you help me out? It's easy peasy. It's about my characters (in my book): http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... Smanx if you do. If you don't, that's ok, too.

  7. I think Twilight fans are worse than Harry Potter fans because at least HP fans can accept if you don't like HP, but Twilight fans go, "WHAT? But...but Edward, and...." Then they shove the first book down your throat.

You should read The Book of Dead Days and Catch-22.

EDIT: I'm an annoying Harry Potter fan, btw!

  8. Personally i have read al seven Harry Potter books and i thought thopse were great books.i suggest you read Fire Starter By Stephen king or and books by him he is a great author.

  9. I agree. I did like the first few books in a guilty pleasure sort of way but it annoys me how seriously some people take it. They send out some really anti-feminist messages that I don't think are going to have a good effect on young girls who read them.

Anyway, I read Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause recently and I wanted to hug the author after I'd finished it. It's pretty short, but it's about ten times better than twilight, even if the protagonist is a complete Mary Sue.

  10. You should read the Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. It's Sci-Fi, but it could also be classified as suspense, action or romance. There's so many events packed into the three hundred or so pages of each volume, I could hardly get enough. It doesn't quite parallel with Twilight, but again, it's what I'd reccomend.
