Question:

People can't hear me on my Nortel T7216E anymore.?

I rearranged my office and decided to move my phone, the Nortel T7316E. So I unplugged the telephone jack and moved it. When I plugged it back in, it seems fine. It rings and I can hear the other person but now they can't hear me. I've tried just pressing the volume button up but it doesn't work. Did something happen or am I suppose to press something else?

  1. Check the curly cord connections.  Try replacing the curly cord with a known working cord (from another phone).  Make sure you do not have the mute button/feature activated.
