Ha!  I have to second Hank Hill.  He embodies what the rest of the nation perceives a Texan to be.  Well, him or the oil tycoon guy on Simpsons.  

If you mean who's your favorite Houston Texan, I'd have to say DeMeco Ryans or Chester Pitts.

He is a regular guy, not afraid to do the right thing or stand up for his values, a badass only when he has to be, an expert handyman, and a beer drinker.  He loves his wife, his boy, his dog, and his truck.  Need I say more?
