People from boston only! question about the trains from southstation!?!?

south station in boston has a train to gillete during football season but does anyone know if the train is in service all the time, or if theres a concert going on a gillette?

  1. The MBTA only runs this train for special events and during Football season.    The train runs as a branch off of the Providence/Stoughton Line, and regularly scheduled trains do not use the same trackage as the branch.   The closest stations to the branch point are Sharon and Mansfield, but there is no direct link to Gillette.  

    If you are looking to take the train to a concert, check with the MBTA via their website for service availability, as there is no posted regular schedule to Foxboro station.
