  1. Yes but normally they have close consultations with their doctors and have midwives attend.

If it's not a normal pregnancy its not a good idea.

But just like your last question this is probably a stupid one too.

  2. And your specific question is ??

How is this a Home and Garden, Maintenance and Repairs issue?

  3. It happens all the time. It also happens in Cabs, on elevators, buses, trains and airplanes. That does not mean that it's a good idea. It is a good idea to have a Dr./Midwife present at a birth regardless of where it might occur.

  4. Yes,  you can have a home delivery with a midwife.

  5. yeah sometimes, but only if it is too late to drive to the hospital.

  6. yep with a midwife and sometimes in a bathtub but its much safer in a hospital- what if there's traffic and u need the midwife? Hospital care is 24/7!!!

  7. yes they do. Some do it because they feel more relaxed giving birth at home thena t a hospital and it makes the delivery easier. Midwifes come and moniter the mother and deliver the baby. Usually ppl who deliver at home give water births too.

But you should not have a home birth if the pregnancy is not going absolutly perfect

  8. Yes, goodness you are all about saving money!  lol   They had babies at home in the old days, some just went under a tree and gave birth.  Now don't get any ideas there doctor/dentist

  9. if you have a midwife or doctor that would do the delivery.. and make sure they have complete, sanitized equipments

  10. you sure put this question in the wrong fourm

you put it Home > Home & Garden > Maintenance & Repairs

(thats a funny place to put this question!)

unless you thought the baby need  tune up

  11. Yes, birth is a natural occurance not a medical emergency.

  12. Most definitely! There's lots of great sites online that discuss home birth, & water birth as well. It's fantastic and can be done at home as well. All the moms I've dealt with seemed to have less pain & worries when delivering at home. It's aways best to consult a registered midwife & doula before getting started though.
