People good with small children.....?

My 4.5 year old grandson has discovered the word FOREVER. My question is...How do I explain the word forever to a 4.5 year old. Thanks to all.

Tell him that you'll love him "forever....." which means it will be for always and will never end.  Cute :o)

show him a picture of the ocean from the beach and how you can see out into the horizon but yet it seems to go on forever

say it means for a big amount of time.  you can further explain it later on when he grows up a little.  Say it will be there when you are 10 years old, 20 years old, 30 years old.  just think of simple concepts
