  1. Well of course!  Any animal abuse should be reported to the proper authorities.  Without hesitation.

  2. Absolutely!!!!!!

    Without a doubt.

  3. Yes they should.  I wish that the person (nasty woman that she was!!) who ran over my cat had reported it to the police.  My cat was beautiful till he was hit.  He had his jaw broken and his head was hit so hard his eyes came out of his head.  Sadly we couldn't fix him, not that we wouldn't have paid, but he would have had to have his eyes removed and his jaw fixed.  He wouldn't have had any quality of life so the best thing was to put him down.  That was 6 years ago and I still miss him even though we have other pets now.  He was my first cat.

  4. Yes, and they should have to pay any vet bills

  5. Yes they should, although they probably don't because most places require dogs to be licensed - so if a dog is hit the owner can be found.  Cat's aren't licensed so it would be really hard for the police to find the owner.

  6. with all pets i think they do and they should

  7. Yes they should have to report hitting a cat.Like you say it is some ones loved pet.

  8. maybe you could report them to the RSPCA instead!!!!!! so your not waisting the police's time.

  9. No they should not have to report hitting a furball, and I dont think you legally have to report a dog now. Unless your car is damaged and you want to recover repair costs from the owner.

  10. hellz ya biznatch! they better or id chop their heads off

  11. FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  12. Yes they should... but people often don't do what they should do.

  13. YEAH

  14. yes because at the end of the day they are still someones pet like a child or an old age pensioner just because cats dont need a licence they should be treated the same as dogs when hit by a car

  15. h*** yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. I would because cats have feelings too. they r loved

  17. No absolutely not, it is a waste of police time. They should be concentrating on more important issues, things other than dead dogs and cats.

Don't get me wrong I am an animal lover, but their comes a time when you have to realise that some things are more important.

  18. shut up nil satis of course all animals are important part frm insects ur not goin to call tha police if u step on 1 ov them. lol

  19. of course cats are just as important and no animal should go through it do a good thing and be this cats angel!

  20. yeah! I mean just cause it is smaller doesn't mean it should be left to suffer and even if it is dead already the person who hit it should be sentenced.

  21. I personally think they should but it's a sad fact that it will never happen.

Cats are deemed free to roam, unlike dogs who are meant to be kept on a lead in public areas. There's no way really of stopping your cats from going onto the roads etc and therefore no reasonable way to prevent them getting run over.

I've had 2 cats get knocked over the in the past 18 months and it's absolutely soul destroying to know someone has killed them and not bothered to stop and at least let me know my gorgeous pet has been injured.
