  1. an expensive bottle of jack daniels would be spot on.

  2. Definitely go with jeans for the younger ones. Designer handbags (pocket books) for the older ones. So, so expensive over there.

  3. Get her american toilet paper, its no contest between irish toilet paper and US paper?!?!?!?!?!?!

  4. I agree with Michelle. I had to help my ex boyfriend convert sizes so he could get his mom and sister some Calvin Klein and Gap stuff. It is ridiculously expensive over there! Also, they don't know what real peanut butter tastes like - I won several of my friends over to the glory that is American peanut butter.

  5. Cinnamon Rolls :)  I love them.  My Fiance is American, while we are going through the Visa process he visits me.  I always get him to bring those with him.  He'll be here Friday :)

  6. For me it was bagels and peanut butter, for my husband it is hot sauce.  I'd ask if there was anything they craved and couldn't get in Ireland.

For the right person vintage denim. I presented a 25 y/o cousin with a 60's vintage Levis jacket that I found in a charity shop for $6.00 in Chicago. That was a real hit!

  7. Well I know when I was there I loved shops like Guess Calvin Klein and Mac which were really cheap over there but expensive here!!!!

  8. My grandmother loves instant iced tea...Really!  Anything with New York on it is usually a hit.

  9. Chocolate (It's much sweeter in Ireland than America) and Whiskey/Jack Daniels.

    = )
