Sorry, I have posted this in 'Travel >Morocco' But my question involves both Morocco and Health.

I am researching health provision, health promotion in Morocco. I love the country and want to set up there. It will be non-profit making for me (apart from salary and moderate expenses) but will benefit the country in respect of health issues, employment and tourism. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. I am a nurse with experience in haematology /Stroke / Cancer / Acute general medical. I am aware that the Princess Selma is quite involved in Cancer care provision therefore would like to follow an alternative route. .

  1. Hello, I have just seen your question, what a refreshing idea. I got back from Morocco 2 days ago and spend quite a bit of time there. I think that anything at all you do will be invaluable for those who you are able to help. Something I'm constantly surprised at in Morocco is the lack of awareness of health issues, how to look after one's health and treat general everyday ailments. As far as the greatest lack of provision goes, in my experience this could be in Mental Health. I'm also concerned about the lack of s*x education.

I'm wondering where you would be based, in a city or more rural area.

Best of luck with this admirable project.
