  1. I think they have access to these things.

  2. Envelope, stamp, retrun address label, paper and pencil.

  3. You cannot send stamps, they are contraband.  You put money in their inmate account so they can but pre-stamped envelopes and paper and stuff like that off the commissary.  My cousin sent me some stamps and they were confiscated.

  4. Yes, supply them with blank paper and an envelope with a stamp. Do not send a pen or pencil, the guards will take that away.

  5. No! They buy their supplies inside the facility. The inmate knows this. Get a list from the facility so that you don't accidentally send the inmate contraband.

  6. no they give them to them i wright people in jail all the time

  7. yeah.....or he could buy some in his cell giftshop. What do you think?

  8. They have paper, envelopes and stamps in jail. So they don't need yours.

  9. LOL! PEOPLE IN JAIL GET A LIMITED AMOUNT OF THOSE THINGS FREE AT FIRST .THE REST THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR.MY SUGGESTION IS :DON`T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN`T FACE THE TIME.

  10. I think they would get paper and envelopes, but sending them a packet of stamps would probably be nice.

  11. After 25 years in prison i can confidently say no they have those things

  12. No.

Generally, the jails do not let stamps or envelopes come in that were supplied from the outside. The glue on those items can be used to introduce contraband to the jail.

The prisoner will have an inmate account. You can send a money order so that they can buy stamps, paper, and envelopes from the jail commissary.
