People in love with trees...and tree friendships...?

Question

So who else here does that pertain to? What is the name for it? can anyone tell me more about it? I have a tree- friend whom I named Midori-Leaf. He was nice. I told him all my secrets and i talked to him and hugged him, until he got taller...I don't go to that school anymore so i stopped seeing him. I'll always miss him. Now i'm starting high school! anyone else with tree stories??

I had a friendship with three elm trees that I used to visit whenever I could. But the city cut them down a few years ago to make room for a new convention center! I was pissed. I still miss them. It might sound a little weird, but they were beautiful trees!
