People in or who have been to ayrshire?

is it nice there? me and my family are going camping this summer and we're thinking of going to ayrshire is there lots of stuff to do there?

Hi I live in Saltcoats and it is lovely all over Ayrshire. Obviously the main attraction is the coastline with the main popular tourist filled beaches but there are plenty of quieter stretches. There are lots of lovely parks, Eglinton country park in Kilwinning, and walking/biking paths and areas. There are the 'historic' places to visit such as Rabbie Burns and Castles. There are also 'family friendly' parks for the day like Heads of Ayr Farm Park Ayr, Loudon Castle Theme Park Galston, Kelbourne Country Park Largs etc. From Ayrshire you can also use the ferries and go across the water to our many islands such as Dunoon, Rothesay, Arran etc.

There is so much to see and do all across Ayrshire and it really is worthwhile I am sure you would find something to suit all your family, happy camping.
