People on student visas can only work part time? not full time? how many hours is that?

  1. Depends where you are from...students from the EEA can work full time, but if you are not from the EEA you can only work for a maximum of 20 hours...if you are found to be working more, you may well be deported.

  2. Do what lots more are doing. Ask the Potential Employer  to pay you cash in hand not to put it through the books and keep it a secret from the Social Security and Taxman. you'll not be alone lol
