  1. I try not to judge them by the ones that tend to frequent yahoo answers.

  2. Thats hard to answer as you an not say something good or bad about an entire nation of people, i personally find many americans very arrogant, very dramatic and over the top, but i also find some are really nice, same as i find people here in the uk to the same , some good some bad

  3. That question is very open to generalisations and i'm sure somebody in here will reply calling you all idiots.

It's hard to say really, you have your fair share of idiots but so does every other country in the world. I don't mind USA so much, I only think that:

    a) Your President it stupid

    b) Stop stealing our language! :P

But let's not argue about B this certainly isn't the place to do it.

  4. To be tuthful!I have found Americans OK! But of late I have noticed that they go on the offensive when the subject of!Is America a declining Economic Power is bought up!

I have always found that America tends to 'bend' history to their advantage!By that I mean! They are quick enough telling the world! How they beat the British in 1775 and the Battle of New Orleans! But conveniently forget that part of American History when the British beat them on August 24th,1814 at Bladensburg Fields! What Americans call! The Bladensburg Races!

  5. If I was mistaken for an American I would be just as Cool about it as being mistaken for a Canadian-European- Australian-NewZealander -or any other civilised Nationality. Why would anyone want to think of Americans any other way?

  6. live by the media under a spell of some really evil people

  7. Thank god most American don't really care about lies people spew about them like Misty Blue and ima bassidiot did.

  8. Arrogant,self righteous,sod you i,m OK,loud,fat,false and there was another one------------------- just remembered  TW@TS

  9. Depends where you go in America, for instance if you go to Arkansas you will meet a bunch of inbred hillbilly rednecks, if you go to New York you will meet a bunch of rude workaholics, almost all Americans are ignorant and don't realise that not everyone wants to live like them, they think they live in a democracy but votes are rigged (dubya) and businesses control their country, they take the English language and don't even have the decency to spell things right (colour, neighbour, flavour all have a 'u' in), they bleep out the swearing in Jerry Springer or drink until they're 21 and yet hold the maturity to own a gun, fat, materialistic, simple, play **** sports and call football soccer and play a p***y version of rugby and call it football, steal things like 'the office' and ruin it with their simple comedy, don't understand sarcasm or English sense of humour, have the death sentence, don't have a clue about current events or things that happen outside of their own country, don't understand other cultures as most don't even own a passport, never mind travel abroad, are annoying and in your face with their stupid annoying whiney accent. However not all Americans confrom to this as I have met a few (just a few), on my travels who are nice, well travelled people.

  10. They suck at Geography.(Maybe that's why Steve S,an American,answered this)

I'd have to say I get the impression they live to work, not work to live. There seems to be more 'loud in your face types' there than in Europe. They don't seem to realise their freedoms are being eroded greatly by this administration.

Ray thankfully you are not typical of Americans I have to say.I was asked my opinion I gave it honestly and it wasn't very insulting(what's bad about working hard and being opinionated, doh?)Maybe it was the last bit that set you off.A Bush supporter?Oh well that explains it. :)

Little tip Ray:If you're going to hit back it helps if you don't demean yourself by being rude, you lose the high ground and making sense would be a good idea.

  11. The same as I do about any individuals from any race of people, if they are OK with me ill be OK with them, if theyre idiots with me ill be a bigger idiot with them

  12. I'm English and I try not to judge Americans by the stereotypes that exist of them. I will admit that as a country I believe the USA has got it wrong for the most part; fast food, everything must be big, loud, arrogant etc etc however I am not so stupid as to believe that all Americans conform to this. Yes I have met some yanks that are like this but I have also met some that are not, for example my housemate (born in UK raised in Houston) had a friend over from Texas last month and he was a thoroughly decent bloke; he understood British humour and took no offence at our mocking of Texas, in fact he would fire back with light hearted insults of England, which was received with a smile of appreciation.

People are people, wherever they come from, and each should be judged purely on who they are not where they come from.

  13. Like every country, you get good and you get bad.

Trouble is you only tend to hear from or about the "gobshyte's", those who know feck all, spout drivel and have a chip on their shoulder the size of their mouth.

  15. They love us but their women, like misty blue ask unusual questions i e ''was your father a donkey?'' And if you don't make a 2nd trip they get upset i e misty blue, but of course we are ''in your face'' Did you not hear of Bill Clinton? misty blue I think blue is your coloUr

Is that a British word for it ''misty'' How cute like bonnet for hood

Best not to attack the yanks we hit back hard So hard you think we started it

  16. I'm Italian and I think Americans are like Homer Simpson

  17. FIT and so much nicer {generally}

  18. You saved my country from nazisme , so I am thanksful for that !

  19. Just like any nationality. There will be some I like and some I do not. When I have met them all I will let you know.

  20. We cant judge all of them at once. Everyone is surely different. Bush sure is a **** :] and the people who voted him twice too.

  21. irish love america is freedom to all

  22. Americans are friendly and supportive of the peoples of the world.

  23. There's good and bad people where ever you are, so I dont really think anything impeticular about americans or any other race as an whole.

  24. Which ones in particular? America is a big continent and hosts many countries.

  25. Americans are wonderful people, always ready with ideas and energy.
