People around said that Big Mac wasn't 100% meat or not even meat at all. I want to know if this is very true. My science teacher also said that Big Mac wasn't meat and a lot more stuff like fries aren't really made out of potatoes. Tell me people cause I like these stuff!

  1. The potatoes are real. The meat, I believe, is soy. Did you ever see meat that looks like that in a store? It makes you burp and fa.r. for hours. I adore the fillet of fish! I can only eat them when I have a day off..need lotsa potty time! I still will always desire Donald's once every 3 weeks!

  2. Big Mac meat is the same meat that is used for cheeseburgers (and double cheeseburgers and bacon cheeseburgers) and is 100% beef, with a salt and pepper seasoning added during cooking.

The fries are indeed made out of potatoes. Of course they have a number of other ingredients, but the main ingredient is potatoes.

Other ingredients are dextrose, salt, and oil.

  3. it's 95% meat, 5% grill grease

  4. Well, I think that its probably all meat...but I wouldent eat it because my brother got food poisoning from it...it sucked.

    Big Mac®

    Serving Size: 7.5 oz (214 g)

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

  6. They are advertising real beef all around? Unless they are lying? But as much as McDonald's spend on advertisting, it has to be real beef?

  7. The Big Mac is a hamburger consisting of two 1.6 oz (45.4 g) beef patties, iceberg lettuce, American cheese, pickles, onion and Special Sauce (a Thousand Island dressing variant) served on a three part sesame seed bun.

Beef. The cow. The whole cow. But McDs are honest - they call it pure beef, and the standards people would crucify them if they lied. Of course, some of it might be the bits of the cow you don't want to eat. But it is certainly cow,

It may be %100 beef but that doesn't account for the quality.

  8. Mcdonalds uses soy in their beef products

  9. Yes, it's 100% meat.

In order to claim that you are using 100% USDA inspected beef (which Mcdonalds does), I imagine that you would have to be using 100% meat.

Besides, why would they bother using anything else? Beef is cheap and tastes good. Using more exotic ingredients would just be expensive. And soy costs about the same as beef in the same quantities and doesn't taste as good. Why bother going to the trouble of mixing their meat with anything.

  10. Well they advertise that its 100% beef, and they aren't allowed to lie about that. If they did, they wouldn't be a huge corporation like they are now... so yes, it has to be 100% beef.
