People say u learn to drive after youve passed?

i got my drving license last week and have a car,so what difference do you find once you passed?

very true.  that is why you probably will not get a new car when you start and your parents (or you) will pay a ton of cash for insurance

no i think the question is totally wrong.... coz here in the philippines... u don't need to get into driving school to learn how to drive.

You learn how to drive with non-licensed teachers like ur parents, family driver, friends etc. And the LTO is so corrupted. As long as u have money... u can get wat u want out of them.

So the question should be....

"people say u learn to drive when u do accidents with your car!"

You can drive with more ease and be relaxed. Since you already have you license you are not worried about every little move you make. The best drivers are the ones who are relaxed and are constantly looking around to see who is on the side of them, front and back and looking for anything/one that could pose a problem.

be patient and defensive.  Bad things will happen you just have to be ready!

Most people learn bad habits after they pass. examples of this would be, tailgating so close you can read the tail light part numbers, burning as much gas as posible just to burn breaks and tires at the red light people are charging to. Not knowing where the wheels and fender/bumpers are (you need to know that to park.... right?)

I do agree I did not know how to drive even though I passed my test, but it did not take me long to learn how to snake through rush traffic with the cruis on and never hit the break. Most people just learn to be cumfy behind the wheel, not actualy know how to drive

They are quite right. All a test does is check the driving basics. You learn traffic and car sense in the years after you pass your test. You aren't really a competent driver for around 5 years after you start. I thought I was a great driver after a year of driving, only in retrospect do I realise how wrong I was.

not much. you know how to drive before you get your license difference is after passing you know that you learned to drive. wait....sounds wrong..

True that. Driving test is just to show that you know the basic principles. After that you learn more from driving more. Some people, like me get more experience after an accident.
