People search on social networking sites (myspace, facebook, xanga, etc)?

Question

Is there a way to do a background check on someone and find all the social networking sites that someone is registered with? Is there a way to do this for free or would you have to pay for a service? I don't even know what terms I would use on a search engine for this kind of tool.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Impossible, unless they use the same username on each site, then just search for the name in "brackets" in Google or go to the most common sites and search on that name. To help here is a list of the top sites:-

I think you might have to hire  a detective for that. because that is something hard to do.
