....do these animals have a different range of vision and would you expect them to be able to see anything (assuming that there was something there to see) that a human couldn't?

I mean in a well lit room, I know they can see better in the dark.

  1. I am aware animals have a different range of hearing than humans, but I'm not too sure about vision as far as having a 'ghostly-sense'. That would be cool.

  2. I think it is a bit strange how my dog will just stare into space sometimes... focused on something...but nothing is there

  3. Interesting question....I think animals are more sensitive to energy, whether it is in the ground rumbling when we don't feel it, or perhaps the energy of a spirit.

When that tsunami in India came a couple of years ago, all of the animals had moved up on higher ground, which no one could explain, but scientists say they may have detected the energy of the ground shifting--something that was imperceptible to humans until the tsunami actually hit.

I will tell you that my two cats sometimes react as though something has just appeared near me.  Sometimes the cat who is most attached to me will be lying near me, or on my lap, and she bristles up and meows...and runs off.

She is afraid of strangers, and whenever guests come to my home, she hides upstairs in my closet, or under the bed.  It's odd, but when she acts as if she has seen something, she does the same thing:  heads for the closet.

    Interesting, huh?

  4. I'm pretty sure it is not ghosts they are seeing.

We humans often forget that these animals have a vastly better sense of smell than people do. If they seem to be seeing ghosts, it is more likely they smell something interesting or strange.
