  1. You got it. They're there for you. To help or hassle the $hit it out of you. If the footprint is good enjoy the relationship, if not let it fade. Some time they could be "Angels".

  2. In my case, yes.

If you believe in the saying: "everything happens for a reason",

I believe these people are placed in your life for a number of reasons.  It has the effect of changing you and altering the person you become in the future.

I learned a powerful lesson the other day.  Just yesterday in fact.  Will you answer mine?

  3. every thing happens for a reason,

but often it isnt a good reason..

some folks can find meaning and positive lessons

even from traumatic  and horrible experinces.

knowing how one can affect anothers life adversely is

    the reason many practice non-interference...

that is why the prime directive in star trek is paramount

    for its adherents..

the additional details above is a whole other question....

  4. The good, bad and the ugly that come into everyone life, serve their purpose, and when the purpose is served they are done, and you move on the the next, stage, lesson, experience etc.  Life in in a continuous state of flux, one way or the other.

Maybe the time factor may have a plus or minus on the time it happens but not the happening.

I think the results of the experience will finally unfold the reason why that particular person appears.  However, you never really know the reason until the lesson is learned.  It is kind of a growth learning or experience.  The answer is not just given to you, it is a culmination of events/experiences coming to a realization, which you surely earn and how long it takes is up to yourself.

  5. ...each must define if the relationship was helpful or not and move on...
