People throwing popcorn at you cuz you wore a shirt that say Vote for Obama is a vote for change?

So my friend called me telling she went to the movies with her bf and she had a obama shirt on and some people out of no where started throwing popcorn on her for wearing the shirt and she got in a fight.

Isn't that the funniest thing ever..

BTW..Goo Obama " Yes we can"

  1. Apparently the McCain voters in your area are too dim witted to figure out any way to voice there political opinions like proper adults, so, as is the republican way they resorted to pettiness.  It's all they know!

    Of course Obama says he's for change, he wants elected..

    Now, ask him WHAT he would change.

    Would he get rid of unpopular opinions like racism, conservatism, How about violence & hate. Sure!

    How, you ask? - Dump that pesky old Constitution. Make the people conform, or jail the b@$t@rds!

    Let's get rid of those crutches like the "stupid" people in Pennsylvania cling to: "guns and religion". Yep Yep! Cool! You want an opinion, the State will give it to ya.

    Health care & housing for everybody! Yessiree!! Forget this deal about working hard & getting ahead by doing that. Equality for everybody. That's what we want. Nobody should have more than their neighbor. If you can't work, or don't want to, why should that stop you from enjoying all that the world has to offer? "From each, according to his ability - To each according to his needs". I have needs & I don't like to go to work every day. Who needs private property anyway?

    Keep in mind, though, that change for change sake isn't always good.

    Other candidates that ran on a platform of change were Hitler, Lennin, Castro, etc. Which one that turned out good?

    You can write anything on a blank slate.

    All that said, it's not the popcorn's fault that your friend doesn't know history. She'll just have to repeat it, that's all.

  6. Some people are so ignorant that they can't see outside their own opinions and beliefs, political or otherwise. They cannot see that other people come from different backgrounds which have shaped their views of the world. The people who were throwing pop corn probably aren't even old enough to vote (hopefully they're not anyway, it sounds like they have a mental age of 2). It's going to be an interesting election and hopefully your friend doesn't suffer anymore for supporting her preferred candidate.

  7. I don't think that's funny. The people who did that are so immature, they should accept that people have different opinions and beliefs. I support Obama but I have no problem with people who support McCain.

    Obama is a politician.

    Obama is no different than all the other politicians.

    Obama is playing the same game as all the other politicians.

    Politicians are not just normal everyday people; they are professional politicians.  Politics is their job and their career.  They are like car salespeople; each has their own style, but they all want the same thing.
