I got a letter from them inviting me on a trip to the British Isles next summer, and my parents and I are wondering the validity/legitimacy of it. Can anybody tell me what it's about?

  1. This has been answered a few times on Yahoo Answers.  Do a search.

It's a valid business, but it isn't worth the money in my opinion.  It's very expensive and you will get more out of an exchange program if you wait until college and 1) do a study abroad, 2) do an "alternative break" or 3) take a class that has an overseas component.

Again, it is a business.  It is not an educational facility.  It wont count on any transcripts.  And it is very expensive b/c they are in the business to make money. They also send those letters to thousands of students and run a ton of different trips.
