People what did you notice that changed in your spouse once you got married?

He quit opening the car door for me.

He just does less around the house and spends heaps of time with the kids and less time with me

Nothing really...it's been almost 5 years now...

Oh, well, this changed for both of us...we used to like going out (to bars, wherever) but now we would rather stay home and have it quiet instead.

That could  be because we have 4 kids too, never know!

stopped opening doors for me... not as romantic ...doesnt cuddle as much any more.. i miss that

She became incredibly critical & suspicious of everything I did.

It drove me completely nuts.

My husband (now ex) experienced a complete metamorphosis after we got married.  What's up with that?

I would say that he wouldn't let me have it my way all the time! hahah but other than nothing really has changed :)

Married twice and the first one was got into drinking more and cheated on me.

The second one gambling more often and I got out that marriage because of financial situation.

Now single and will not get married again.

He became much more self-centered & now spends much more time with his friends or at work than with me. And this change happened almost immediately after the honeymoon.

My husband is still the same sweet,loving,kind and affectionate man i married.

We have both gotten more mature over the yrs so that's a change but a good one.

He is still sweet but I am finally seeing the mean side of him. He is quite blunt and not mindful of my feelings at times.
