People who are already saying keane is a flop for liverpool?

We can all see he is not playing great but shouldn't a couple of things be taken into account

He is new to the team

The whole team is not playing well.

What is it he needs to do if you watch games properly he is linking up with torres well just not scoring goals yet can we give the poor bloke a chance

we are winning games whilst not playing very well

keane just needs his confidence to blossom, thus we will see the true robbie in the next 2-3 months

well said dan. it always takes a while to settle into a team and he's only played 2 or 3 games. if he's still playing badly after 3 months then i would start to worry.

the season is only really just started, so give the guy time. it takes ages for the whole team to gel together. i think people should reserve judgement till the halfway point in the season.

Getting your excuses in early are we? Keane can not cut it where anything less than a win is considered a disappointment. From what I've seen his touch has gone and so has his passing. He wasn't bought to run around and look busy.

Whatever about this 'gelling' together, I must point out the fact that Keane is the ONLY main change in the squad, who cares about Dossena, hes rubbish (how did he get in the Setanta team of the week?). Chelsea brought Deco in, from a completely different country, and hes been wondeful. And Nasri has done fairly well. Keane is a player who needs to be a lead striker, and given a free-role.

So, so far we can put down Keane as a flop, but he has another 9 or 10 months.

Also, to the guy above called Alligators or something, i believe Liverpool fans had a huge ant-Rafa rally outside Anfield a few months back.

dan if you were to put torres into plymouth argyle he would be scoring for fun, my personal opinion of the guy is he is the strangest choice liverpool have bought in as long as i can remember. jan molby had good qualities, so did igor biscan, i just cant see it in robbie keane and again on a personal note i am no sir alex ferguson but i do like my football and i like to think i know what i'm talking about, robbie keane is a shocking bad signing for liverpool and in my humble opinion will never make a good partnership with torres. if and when i'm wrong i will hold my head and say i know naff all about football but i know thats not the truth. i am coaching a team of 8-14 year olds this season and if any of them are good enough rafa will be the first to know i promise.

dont listen to manu fans saying that.  these are the fans that wanted fergie out after 3 yrs of failure so they dont know what theyre talking about.  keane is a proven goalscorer so no worries there.  but like all goalscorers he needs confidence, and he'll get that after hes scored a few goals, which he will do cos hes a proven goalscorer!  the biggest worry for liverpool is their lack of width.  look at the goal last night, cross from out wide.  they need to be doing more of that

I am a manu supporter and i was born in manchester, I thought it wonderfull when liverpool bought keane, he is total nonsense, a lot of the games they showed live here in toronto were spurs, keane misses far too many, sure he scores a few, so could anyone given the chances he gets, i hope he stays at liverpool for many years....:)
