  1. never have done it. but i do practice CPR (catch, photograph, and release)

just remember if fishing was easy everyone would do it

  2. i never was married lol

  3. I believe catch and release is best.  I don't like to eat fish anyway.  Sometimes I will keep a steelhead or two to take to my parents.  But there is a saying, as long as your fishing and not working there is no such thing as a bad day fishing.  It is so much more that just landing the fish....

  4. No most of the time I just put the fish I catch back. Unless they're really big.

  5. I try to make for the catch and release people by practicing a strict catch and kill policy. After catching, killing and throwing a boat load of fish back in the lake I stop off at the store and buy some to take home and eat. And most of the time I kick the dog before going into my house.

  6. No, but I always catch and release anyway. Actually don't like eating fish, just catching them.

  7. No, but thats not a bad idea....  XD

  8. Sometimes I go fishing just to get away - if I catch fish fine - if not I always remember....

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at the office....

  9. I actually did this as a joke on my wife once. She just started fishing and already thinks she's the world of knowledge on the sport. So I played a small prank on her. I had bought a whole Salmon from a fish market and took it with me on a pier fishing trip. I had my friend take pictures of me holding up the fish at the pier. I get home and show my wife the fish and the pictures. She was shocked that there was salmon swimming around Florida and immediately started ranting about how the species got here. We're just looking at her trying to hold back our laughter. Finally when she said, " Do you guys know how much these fish cost? Let's go catch some more!" We both broke out laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe anymore. She caught on that we were messing with her and pretty much beat us down with the salmon. It was hilarious, but we both learned a lesson that day. 1, she doesn't know everything and 2, I need to let the fish thaw out more before trying that stunt again.  ; ) ~good luck catchin'.

  10. no

  11. No.

  12. no that is taboo with me,besides i get to go again say in a few hours(just kidding) actually in a week i will go out again to go catch my fish.i practice the catch and release only when too small or illegal size.i love to eat what i catch.i love to fish for a particular fish which is the "MANGROVE SNAPPER" they are very tasty you can't find those in a grocery store.LOL

  13. No, i put most of them back, i keep the occasional rainbow trout, but never brown trout.

  14. I'm strictly catch and release. If everyone ate what they caught then I'd be making a lot of trips to the grocery store!

  15. never but we always caught something,

catch and release was for the ones we couldn't sell or where to small to eat.

but going fishing sounds fun now.

  16. Nope, Almost always throw them back anyways.

  17. Catch and release (when conditions are right) but, would like ta' follow up on your question. I've never stopped in a grocery store to pick up a fibbin' catch but, I did however (when I was kid) pull a couple of spent/dead Sockeye Salmon outta' the Taku River near Juneau, AK., and brought them home to the old man sayin' I caught em' ~ well he knew right off the bat that I was BS'n him ie., the Salmon had the usual white bruises/blotches all over them from their migratin' up the river on the spawnin' run ;) :(  Moto: Fish stories just don't get ya' nothin' but, a' bad rep., and a RED face ;)...

  18. silly goose, i often come home empty handed. always put some fish back for a later date. my last fishing trip i saw a doe and her fawn feeding, cranes, egrets, nutria rats, heard some turkeys gobble at a hoot owl and a fringe benefit is my cell phone doesnt have reception where i fish. peace and quiet, mother nature. who could ask for anything more?

  19. no

a bad day fishing is still a good day

  20. no, i will fish until i have something to bring back home

  21. I caught a turtle... never was able to catch a fish.

definitely threw it back it, but it was a snapping turtle so it had to keep its fancy new hook.

  22. Nope. I go out saying I'm having fish or <whatever I've got in the fridge> for dinner. I don't buy fish except for occasionally I'll get a can of tuna  and feel guilty or go to the local fish market and usually be disgusted by the time I've seen everything they've got... they get fresh fish every morning, but somehow it always looks... blah by the time I get there to look at it. Forget going to the grocery store for fish, I step in there and smell the bait cooler from the front door... oh, did I say bait cooler? I meant "seafood department", but it sure smells like a bait cooler to me.
