People who have Pets?

Question

This is not a question - Please try and get your pets to a save spot do not allow them to be trapped somewhere even more in your home if their is chance of flooding of your home. I know many wouldn’t let you take them with you if you are getting out on bus's or other Public transit. My local animal shelter and i am sure others have deployed to New Orleans to assist with the rescuing of your beloved pets.

I think we should be able to use this forum for something so important. So I hope YA will make an exception.  Yes, I agree with you.  PLEASE don't leave your pets!  If you must go and can't take your pets, just call someone, a vet, or your local authorities.  They will tell you where to take your pet.  We just can't let happen again what so tragically happened to all the animals during Katrina and other disasters.  Let's all take responsibility in this.

If its not a question then how can I answer. And why is it on Yahoo!Answers? Shouldn't it be on Yahoo!Announcements which doesn't exist because it wouldn't be good for announcements?

But I do agree that pets shouldn't have to die from flooding and weather because thats cruel.

Agreed and thank you for the post

I know that a lot of pets are dying due to people loosing their jobs and their homes(shelters being over loaded) so lets all do our best to save these pets from this storm too
