  1. Yes, downloads must be over the internet but I've never heard of a contract limiting the generic number of downloads.

    A site that distributes music or pictures may limit you to downloading 1000 items but it makes not sense to put a limit on the number of downloads of anything you may find on the internet.

    What kind of contract are you talking about?
