  1. I went with my "burro" and my "sombrero" to drink tequila. Yeah, I think they also have clubs, museums, beaches, archaeological sites, old towns with beautiful architecture, and I think a lot of them are not dreaming on becoming illegal immigrants.

  2. well i have family there we usually party and go to clubs

however there are some really nice parts of mexico

you can visit like the pyramids, theres the basillica de la virgen de guadalupe, alcapulco if u like the beach,

  3. I got off the plane, kissed the ground and gave thanks for NO Bush, NO rednecks, NO stupid Republicans.

Mexico is better than the US anyday.

    Better food.

    Better lifestyle.

    Better Healthcare (cheaper and nationalized)

    Nicer people.

    Better weather.

  4. Flew into Mexico City;

went to the Antropological Museum (SUPER) and Chapulepec Castle

and saw the Ballet Folklorico at night.

Went to Autobuses Norte and took the bus to Teotihuacan; spent the day climbing the pyramids and had lunch in a cave behind the Pyramid of the Sun.

Rented a car and drove to Puebla; explored the Cholula pyramid and bought some onyx bookends and chess set.

Drove to Oaxaca and explored the ruins of Monte Alban and Mitla; then sat outside a restaurant on the town square and ate and heard a band play. Visited an art museum and some stores.

Drove to San Cristobal de las Casas visited Na Bolom and bought a book on the Lacandon Indians. Went to the Indian market and bought some trinkets; went to Sna Jolobil  and bought a poncho and some other woven goods.

Headed for Palenque, but stopped at Ocosingo to see the Maya ruins of Tonina and then stopped at Agua Azul and swan under the waterfalls.

At Palenque, bought a set of bow and arrows from Lacandon Indians at the entrance to the ruins and then explored the ruins (best Maya site in Mexico).

Drove to Villahermosa and visited Parc La Venta.  Bought some potato chips and a young deer came up to beg for some (they like the salt); also went to the museum down by the river.  At night, explored some stores downtown where several blocks are blocked off to traffic.

Drove to Campeche and walked along the fortifications that were built to keep the pirates out; saw a waterspout in the Gulf of Mexico.  Had dinner in a Mexican restaurant and watched Mexican TV while we ate.

Drove to Merida, along the way, stopped at the Maya ruins of Sayil, Labna and Uxmal.

Drove to Chichen Itza; stayed at a hotel in Piste; explored the ruins all day; went back at night for the Sound and Light Show.

Drove to Cancun, along the way stopped for lunch in Valladolid in a Restaurant that was built on the side of a cenote.

Explored Cancun; drove down to Tulum; explored the ruins at Tulum and Coba.

Spent a day hanging out at Xel-ha.

Drove to the Cancun airport, turned in the car and flew home.

  5. I just flew to Puerto Vallarta but stayed in Bucerias - a town just north that is less "Americanized"  I took a bus tour to San Sebastian, canopy tour. But most time was spend exploreing the area, people, culture, food, taxis, bus systems. I found a great beach north of Bucerias.  Plus, wondering why the area is always so dirty with trash and littler
