People who know Mongoose Bikes HELP!!!!!!!?

Question

My Mongoose Vault just broke. I am in need of a new Mogoose. What is a good one for me. This bike has to do jumps, be able to drive very long trip. I love 20 inch mongooses

I'm 14, 170 lbs, live on Long Island, NY.

I love mongooses and i need one so i could hit the dirt jumps again.

Hit your local bike shop (or wherever bikes like that are sold around you), have your parents take you, ask questions over the bikes and have someone show you what they have in stock. Sit on them and find which ones you like, best advice I can give you!

In my opinion you shouldn't be biased to only one brand, expectually a mongoose. don't get me wrong, but mongooses are not the best of bikes out there in brand or quality, even for juniors. if you serious about biking you would go to one of the more reputable brands, such as specialized, cannondale, kona, GT, Giant, Intense. If you looking for something with a Bang For Your Buck , try out some Iron Horses, they are great bikes with good prices, ranging from 300-800 CAD for mid line to 1200-6000 for high end.

You need to step up to a bike shop grade Mongoose, the one you have was made for 6 -12 year old riders.  You should check out the local bike shops and see what they have. They are way better then anything to get at the big box stores.

the second guy is right, you bought one of those "big box store" mongoose, which is dramatically lower quality than that from a bike shop.

I suggest the bike shop, but make sure that they sell mongoose bikes(you may want to looks at other brands to see your options)
