im curious what are Multi's? and can you give a example of one.

Explain to me how can you tell if someone is good at changing there flow how can you tell if someone is good at.

What are punchlines? and whats a example of one.

What's a Bar?/Bars? and how much is 1 bar.

A multi is where a group of lines all sort of string together on the same subject matter.  It's easy to just say 3 random lines that all happen to rhyme the same word.  It's a little more difficult to get them all to make sense.

I know this won't be the most "popular" example, but it's the first one I thought of:

It's from the Lil Wayne song "I'm Me":

"It's just me and my guitar, yeah b**** I'm heavy metal and you can get the f***ing led zeppelin".

That one works because the word "guitar" often correlates with "heavy metal" and Led Zeppelin is a heavy metal band.  See how that works?  Sorry it might not be the best example.

Good at changing their flow?  I don't really know what you mean.  The only thing I can think of is how Nas usually raps at a slow pace, almost like his songs are a poem.  But in the song "Big Things" he raps noticeably faster.  I suppose a better example would be the Busta Rhymes song, "Don't Touch Me".  Busta Rhymes at his normal-fast pace but then he gets incredibly faster and alternates between fast and even faster.

A punchline is the line that kind of pulls everything together.  For example, in a joke, the punchline is the "funny part".  An example of a punchline would be in The Game song, "Taped Conversation" where he says, "There's a G in Young Buck, there's a G in The Game.  Banks, Yayo and Fifty, ain't no G in your name".  Get it?  By "g" he's referring to being "gangster" and also that there is literally a letter G in his name.  But in "Banks", "Yayo" and "Fifty" the letter G is nonexistent.  With this, The Game is implying that they are not "gangsters".  Get it?  That's a punchline.  When a rapper says a line and you're like, "what is he talkin' about" and then he says the next line and you're like, "Oh!".  The line that made you say "oh" is the punchline.

A bar, simply put, is a line in a song.  The average verse usually has about sixteen bars.

multi's could mean multi millionares, multiple, it could be a street name for drugs idk, changing their flow is like if somebody is rapping really hard and mad and then they change it down to a relaxed sad rap, eminem is good at that in some of his songs, punchlines are pick up lines to girls or they could be jokes, bars could be bars of gold, an actual bar (place where you get drunk and laid), or jail bars

Punchlines- It's usually the line a hip-hop artist uses to attract the listener, make him or her say "OOO" or "That line's hot"

2 Ex's:

Jay-Z "Swagger Like Us: "But I can't teach you my swag. You Can Pay for school but you can't buy class." This is a line that generally makes hip-hop listeners OOO and AHH or laugh.

Fabolous "Breathe": " I came back with some sicker stones, and got these broke n****'s staring at me like they choking on a chicken bone. Again another line that amuses the general hip-hop listner.

Now Bars, bars in simple definition means "lines". For example, "I wrote 12 bars" that means 12 lines that rhyme.

2 you can tell by just listening to the music and listen if it flows or if its forced

3 punch lines are rhymes that make fun of somebody and are somethimes funny
