  1. Do you mean food or things like pots and pans?

For food, you have a couple of supermarkets, Co-op on the corner of London Rd. and Stile Rd. The other one is Somerfield which is in Old High St. If you have a car or transport both Tesco & Sainsburys are near by. They may even have a bus that will get you there. Both are good and carry a whole range of goods. For other stuff, there are a number of shops on the London Rd. and Windmill Rd. Again if you have transport try going to Cowley Centre. There you will find a B&Q, on the retail park and in the centre a Wilkinsons which sells everything at very good prices. Plus food shop and clothes shops. I see that you were asking about jobs in a earlier question, try the shop on the corner (where the traffic lights are) thats open till very late, not sure of the name now, 7 till 11 at one time, they are always looking for staff and quite a few young people work there (students?).

Headington has very good buses to get into Oxford and also coaches for trips to London. There are also plenty of Estate agents who both sell and rent properties. Ask friends who they have dealt with, and had no problems. But most have been in business for some time and are ok. Great place to live, I grew up there and my daughter lives in the quarry now.
