People who own a Corvette please answer?

Question

Do you ever get pulled over for speeding when you really aren't speeding? or do the police sorta just pluck you out of a crowd of speeders just because you have a corvette? My mother and I are in a steamed debate as to if this is true or not... thanks in advance for any help!

You're not going to get pulled over just because you're driving a corvette. Now if you are speeding, blow a stop sign, or break the law in some form, then sure you will get pulled over, but it won't have anything to do with the type of car you are driving. I have been driving a vette for 9 years and have never been pulled over in it. On top of that I bought my vette when I was 24 so I'm one of the younger corvette drivers on the road.

i had a convertable 01 vette.  yup.. you get pulled over alot in some areas. i have long hair and beard and they think since i look like a hippy/biker, drug dealer, i got yanked all the time. no tickets but , alot of wasted time on the side of the road.. and for the record, i got the same treatment when i was driving my black '95 cadillac ETC.

Yes you will be picked on if you drive a Vette. If it is red it is even worse. You being a woman? What self respecting police officer wouldn't stop a Vette with a pretty lady driving it LOL. I used to be a police officer. It will happen again darlin.

Corvettes, like any sportscar, are simply targets for law enforcement. It's nothing personal but if you drive a vehicle that stands out then, well, you're gonna stand out...
