People who take themselves too seriously, what do you do when someone doesn't take you seriously at all?

  1. Not sure what you mean by saying you don't take people seriously? What do you do then, laugh openly in peoples faces at everything they say, do or tell you? There is a place for humour, joking around and jesting, but there is also a place for seriousness. The skill to good communication is to be flexible and be able to "pick up" and "detect" when things need to be taken seriously and when its ok to joke. It would be very very rude to never take anyone seriously, especially if they were telling you something that WAS serious, like someone death. YOU would look crass, insensitive and foolish to NOT take that seriously. It would be very rude and off putting. You wouldn't earn yourself many friends or admirers. Never taking people seriously is just as bad as always taking everything seriously and not being able to lighten up or see the funny side.  


  2. i am serious when i do not listen to sirius, because seriously, i have a serious problem, that can only be helped by serious people, seriously speaking
