and some one told us that you can put all your stuff in your car and ship it in a boat to the country your going to move to.

is this true

and can people steal your stuff this way?

i know really odd question i just need help on this because i really don't want to have to give up all my stuff when i move haha.

  1. Most people who move abroad hire an international courier or removal service - they pack up all your things into containers which may or may not be in a removal truck and it's shipped by sea and ground to your new home. I've taken everything but my fitted kitchen abroad this way, so whatever the amount of stuff you have shouldn't be a problem.

Some people choose to take their cars with them when they move abroad, so on that principle you could probably ship some of your things in your car; you'd probably need to confirm this with the haulage company who were exporting/importing your car, though. Most cars are shipped by sea in secure containers - so it's about as secure as any other form of shipping although obviously not 100%
