Is your speedometer equal to the MPH your Garmin tells you that you are going? My speedometer, for example, will say I'm going 40 MPH, while my Garmin tells me I am going 45 MPH. Which should I go by? Thanks for your help!!

  1. My Garmin 2620 is normally within one to three MPH.  I use this GPS in two of my vehicles with the same results.  The Garmin will be the most accurate on the open road.  If there is trees or buildings obstructing the signal, it will effect the signal and not be accurate.

  2. go with gps its more accurate
