  1. They're cartilage piercings, which can take upwards of a year to heal, so 6 months should be the minimum amount of time you let pass before changing the jewelry.

An infected ear is going to look a lot worse than whatever jewelry is in there now.

  2. i got my rook and tragus done at the same time about....2 months or so ago, and i still have the original jewelry in, i don't plain on changing them, i can feel that they're not healed properly yet, i think another couple of months and they will be fully healed.

with my tragus i got a CBR and my piercer told me to come back in 8 weeks to change the jewelry.

  3. i got both of my tragus done today and my body piercer told me 4 months then i can change it if i want to but im not going to cause i like the jewelry that she pierced it with but the healing time is 6 month to a yr to fully heal. i love my tragus i plan on getting more like both rooks, both daith, right cartilage, and left top ear and ect

if you change it to early it might get infected and thats not a fun thing to have is an infected rook or tragus cause they get really sore and you can't even touch them or move them it hurts so bad!

  4. ok well i have both done

i left my original ring in my tragus for about 2 months

and i still have my original rook in...its only been about 2 months but im going back to the place to get it changed in a couple days

but my piercer said that i could go back to them and they would change it for me in a month
