People with a yellow room - how does it make you feel when you're inside?

I want to paint my study a bright yellow colour but I need some feedback

what kind of mood are you in when you're in your yellow room?

just so you know i want YOUR opinion, not one from a random site.

Seriously though, you probably don't want to paint any room BRIGHT yellow; after a few minutes in the room it will really hurt your eyes. I painted our master bedroom a cross between beige and yellow, which was not the color I was going for, but I love it. All the linens in the room are white, and the carpet is a sand color. It has a very clean feeling...but the actual feeling I get is REFRESHED.

Our living room and kitchen are yellow, and everyone who comes in says our house feels more 'homey' than most others.  We feel very relaxed and comfortable.  At first I was really unsure of the color, but now I'm glad I chose it.

It makes me feel like I'm inside a lemon. If it's really bright yellow I suggest just one or two walls and a calmer colour on the others.

Yellow happens to be my fav color. Makes me feel cheery - how can you be around yellow and be mad or upset? If your study is a place where you also work, then hopefully you'll feel good about working! BUT, remember - it will ultimately be the way it makes you feel and paint is easy to cover up if you don't like it. Good Luck. LT
