People with blue eyes share a common ancestor?

How mad is that? Does anyone know if this has been disproven, cos I don't really want to believe it...

  4. It probably is true. All Europeans for instance (and people of European descent,so that's MILLIONS in the US,canada etc) are descended from only 9 or 10 different women! (And nearly half of them are from one woman known  to geneticists as H or Helena.)
