People with mental illnesses, do you find it a struggle to seek medical help for your physical ailments?

Because mental health professionals want to blame it on anxiety or hypochondria? I have lots of physical health problems, & they don't care if I have a STROKE! They will STILL try to say it's all in my head, because of my mental health diagnosis. & people get upset with me when I'm sick, & I just take it & suffer, rather than going to the doctor, or the ER. They don't even check me properly. They just do blood pressure & temperature & then say nothing's wrong with me. & they think it's not a big deal. It IS a big deal!

  1. go to your family dr and have for blood tests to be done

    to check your health

if you don't get any help from your family dr

look on websites like curezone.com or alternativementalhealth.com and get natural help

also eat healthy and get plenty of sleep, maybe take vitamins

    all that will help

  2. I've had the same problem for years, as often as not because of embarassment. My mum used to get mad at me for catching chicken pox or mumps etc.

I can really empathize with you!
