for the love of god...PLEASE stop driving around in

'1st gear' to make ur car sound louder..its so freekin annoying and what does it say about u..that ur 'hard' & 'tough'??? It sounds like a dog with diohoreea. When u step out of ur 'hot hatch' ur no more special than anyone else, just a kid who spent daddys allowance on an exhaust system. STOP IT?

I agree. EXCEPT, when were talkin about real power where the exhaust is needed. For example, in my 92 Silvia S13 SR20DET Ks RHD (import from Japan)! But all those little brokedown buckets that cant even go past '1st gear' should stay in the dump. HA!

It sounds loud and fast. my BMW M3 got a remus exaust system on it and a supercharger, chipped, NOS system, scary as F--K car

It's a sound that made itself popular.  Most knowledgable car people know that it's "all show, no go," there are a lot of people who just have to be noticed.

That being said, there are RARE occasions where that kind of muffler is installed for a useful purpose, but not with a stock engine, as is usually the case.
